Biography

Julie Yack is one of the founding partners of Colorado Technology Consultants, Inc (www.coloradotc.com) and currently serves as the company’s Chief Operations Officer. Julie has been named a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional for her efforts in the CRM professional community. Julie is a Microsoft CRM Certified Professional, Microsoft Small Business Specialist and a Certified Scrum Master. She was named one of 101 Women Bloggers to Watch in 2009 by WEmagazine. Julie is a founder and leader of xRMVirtual (www.xrmvirtual.com) a fast growing online community for xRM developers.

Julie has been a vital part of three large scale publications in 2008. She was a contributing Author for Voices for Change: Women's Words to Politicians. Julie was the Technical Editor for Wiley's The IT Girls Guide to Becoming an Excel Diva. She served as Editor and Publisher for (X)CRM as a Rapid Development Platform. In 2009 Julie published Silverlight 3 Jumpstart. All of these titles are available direct from their publishers or at www.amazon.com.

Julie is one of the founders of SouthColorado.NET, a user group focused on improving the knowledge base of .NET developers (www.southcolorado.net). SouthColorado.NET is a member of INETA (www.ineta.org). Julie serves as the Director of Membership for INETA and strives to help the developer community wherever possible.

In 2009 Julie was selected from over 100 applicants to join the District Technology Advisory Committee for Academy District 20 in Colorado Springs and continues her efforts as part of the Education Technology and Information Literacy Committee at Pine Creek High School in Colorado Springs.

Julie received her Bachelors of Science from the University of Phoenix in 2004. Julie is currently pursuring her MBA at the University of Phoenix.

Julie and her husband David, along with their children Drew and Jacqueline enjoy living and playing in Colorado.
