Julie Yack is one of the founding partners of Colorado Technology Consultants, Inc (www.coloradotc.com) and currently serves as the company’s Chief Operations Officer. Julie has been named a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional for her efforts in the CRM professional community. Julie is a Microsoft CRM Certified Professional, Microsoft Small Business Specialist and a Certified Scrum Master. She was named one of 101 Women Bloggers to Watch in 2009 by WEmagazine.
Julie has been a vital part of three large scale publications in 2008. She was a contributing Author for Voices for Change: Women's Words to Politicians. Julie was the Technical Editor for Wiley's The IT Girls Guide to Becoming an Excel Diva. She served as Editor and Publisher for (X)CRM as a Rapid Development Platform. Julie is one of the founders of SouthColorado.NET, a user group focused on improving the knowledge base of .NET developers (www.southcolorado.net). SouthColorado.NET is a member of INETA (www.ineta.org). Julie serves as the INETA membership mentor for a 4-state region as well as virtual groups globally and strives to help the developer community wherever possible. She was the Conference Chair for the innagural .NET Developer vConference, reaching out globally to the .NET Developer community.
Julie is active in the local business community. She is a member of The Pikes Peak Business and Professional Women’s Organization and serves on the membership committee for the National BPW organization. Julie is also a quarterly contributor to the Colorado Business Leaders Confidence Index, providing forecast and economic trend information for Colorado businesses. Julie attends many events and conferences for the technology and business leaders’ arena.
As a member of the Information Literacy and Technology Committee at both Challenger Middle School and Pine Creek High School in Colorado Springs, Julie offers insight to help guide the technology education of our future workforce.
Julie received her Bachelors of Science from the University of Phoenix in 2004. Julie is currently pursuring her MBA at the University of Phoenix.
Julie and her husband David, along with their children Drew and Jacqueline enjoy living and playing in Colorado.
